DD Duvall - Artist Debut

  • NSU-BA 3100 E New Orleans St Broken Arrow, OK, 74014 United States

Although his aunt and grandmother painted, Northeastern State University’s October artist only recently took up the hobby. Displaying his art for the first time, NSU alumn DD Duvall shares rich textures, and layers of acrylic in interesting forms on canvas. Although he often doesn’t have more than a color pallet in mind when he begins, Duvall always knows when each piece is complete.

Duvall would like for viewers to be inspired, and “realize we all have our own blank canvases we can create art on. And be willing to try something new and always, always keep learning.” And to aspiring artists, “START. Stop thinking and planning and wishing just… start with what you have.”

The exhibit is on display Oct. 6 – 31 and is open Monday- Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 8 p.m. This exhibit is located at the NSUBA Administration Building Gallery, 3100 East New Orleans, Broken Arrow, Okla. 74014. The exhibit is also free and open to the public
